This ongoing project to upgrade our made-to-order Collection pieces will continue throughout 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited about the possibilities it brings for both us and you, our amazing clients.
You may be wondering, what does this all mean for the jewelry you love? Think of it like upgrading from VHS tapes to DVDs, but with jewelry instead of movies! Using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology, we’re able to scan and digitize existing designs, creating a digital archive of our most popular pieces. This lets us streamline our production process and say goodbye to hundreds of physical samples, as well as allowing us to update our molds with ease, which tend to degrade over time.
In the past, we would make original samples by hand, create molds for each design, and use those molds to produce each piece. While this method has worked for years, it comes with its own challenges. Not only is there shrinkage involved each time a piece is cast and then molded which leads to issues for stone setting and the thickness of metal. Molds do wear out, and when they do, if the original sample is lost or needs repair, it’s back to square one. Additionally, if a design needs a small adjustment, this often means going through the entire sample making and molding process again. CAD allows us to make quick fixes to existing designs, saving us time and reducing material waste. Now, instead of relying on this out dated and time consuming process, we have secure digital files that preserve our designs for the long haul.
Earlier this year, we began digitizing our best-selling designs and will continue this process into next year, ensuring longevity and better quality control. While CAD offers us more precision and flexibility, it doesn’t change how your jewelry is made. Every piece is still cast by hand, meticulously finished, and carefully set with stones to meet our highest standards.
Today, we’re excited to release the new versions of some beloved pieces, some prices have increased which is due to making our ring bands thicker and changing bezel sizes, but many of them have decreased which is major win, enabling us to continue to produce quality hand-crafted jewelry at affordable prices. In this batch, you’ll find updated designs of the Avalon Ring, Moronoe Ring, Eluned Ring, Moon Phase Shield Ring, Mini Crystal Ball Ring, Queen’s Ring, Maiden Necklaces, and Triple Moon Goddess Necklace. These refreshed designs have replaced the older versions on our site, but if you’re a fan of the originals, we still have a limited stock in our Last Chance section at 15% off.
