CREATION PROCESS:

Each Portal Ring begins as a hand-carved wax model in our Idyllwild, California studio. The wax is then cast in brass using the lost wax casting method, a traditional technique that allows for intricate detail and unique character in every piece.

After casting, each ring is carefully finished by hand. The Black Onyx is hand-selected for its depth and energetic resonance, then set in a custom bezel that frames the stone as an actual portal.

The final step is hand-finishing and polishing, which brings out the warm glow of the brass and creates depth in the design. This process highlights the architectural details and gives each piece its signature look.

Because each ring is made to order, slight variations in the stone and metalwork make every piece truly one of a kind.

JEWELRY CARE:

Brass naturally develops a patina over time, creating a rich, aged appearance. This is part of the beauty of the metal and adds character to your piece.

To maintain the original bright finish, gently polish with a brass polishing cloth. To embrace the patina, simply wear and enjoy as the piece evolves with you.

Remove your jewelry during strenuous activities, bathing, or swimming. Black Onyx can be energetically cleansed by moonlight or sage smoke. Store your piece in a cool, dry place when not wearing.

SHIPPING:

This limited edition piece is handcrafted to order and ships within 1-2 weeks from the date of purchase (often sooner). You will receive a tracking number once your piece ships.

We ship via USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority, or USPS Priority Express depending on your chosen method. Domestic orders typically arrive within 2-5 business days after shipping. International orders may take 2-3 weeks to arrive.
