CREATION PROCESS:

Each Armored Portal Ring is built using Acid Queen’s signature technique, adapted from our original Armored Talisman designs. We carve the intricate geometric framework in wax, cast in small batches in our Idyllwild, California studio, and hand finish every piece.

After casting, each ring is carefully finished by hand. The hexagonal Clear Quartz is hand-selected for its clarity and energy, then set in a custom bezel that protects the stone while allowing light to pass through. Each etched line is carefully carved to create the geometric patterns that make this piece both protective and powerful.

The final step is oxidizing and polishing, which creates depth and contrast in the geometric line work. Because each ring is made to order, slight variations in the stone and metalwork make every piece truly one of a kind.

JEWELRY CARE:

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time, developing a darker patina. This is part of the beauty of the metal and adds character to your piece.

To maintain the original finish, gently polish with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and remove jewelry before swimming or bathing. Store your piece in a cool, dry place when not wearing. A jewelry box or pouch will help prevent scratching and oxidation.

This item is made to order with a production time of 1-3 weeks. You’ll receive an email with shipping confirmation and tracking when your piece is complete.

We ship via USPS Ground, with options for USPS Priority Mail or UPS options with insurance and tracking. Domestic orders arrive within 2-5 business days after shipping. International orders may take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Duties and customs fees are determined by your country’s policies.
