When I first sat down to design this collection, I truly had no idea where I would be headed. Honestly, I was nervous that inspiration wouldn't hit me. It's been an extremely busy and fulfilling few months, and while I have loved every minute of it, I find it hard to get creative when I lack the space to go inward.
When creativity is your job and livelihood, you can't always wait for inspiration to hit, so you need tools to break through and find that spark when necessary. For me, that means immersing myself in the theme I'm trying to find inspiration in. I researched summer and sun gods and goddesses, looked through books, pulled stones, started drawing, and then, just like a beautiful sunrise, everything slowly but surely became illuminated.
I'm absolutely ecstatic to introduce our third major one-of-a-kind collection release of the year, 'Alectrona,' and with it, I invite you to embrace your inner fire and let the vibrant energy of summer fill your soul.
Like many of our jewelry pieces, our Summer + Fire Collection draws inspiration from folklore, mysticism, art, and nature. Named after the radiant Greek goddess of the Sun, 'Alectrona', embodies summer's energy and the transformative power of fire.

Also known as Electroyne, Alectrona (daughter to Helios the Sun God) Is the Greek Goddess of the sun and morning. Just as the neon sky-laced sunrise kisses the horizon each morning, we wanted this collection to embody Alectrona’s energy of renewal, rebirth, and transformation.
Each piece featured in this collection is meant to act as a talisman of the celestial energy of summer, designed to awaken your personal spark and ignite the passion of creativity, inviting you to step into the light and claim your power.
Art Deco Influenced

While this collection's energetic imprint is rooted in the spirit of the Greek goddess Alectrona and the essence of summer, we chose do achieve this through the lens of the Art Deco movement of the 1920s.
"Art Deco is one of the most distinctive styles thanks to its far-reaching influence across the arts and culture and across time. Characterized by its sharp-edged looks and stylized geometric patterns it is a decorative style that flourished between 1919 and 1939 throughout Europe and the United States. Initially known as "le style moderne" or "Jazz Moderne" the style originated in France and garnered international attention thanks to a government-sponsored exhibition Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes which occurred from April to October of 1925 in Paris.
The style was crafted by the French to represent elegance, wealth, and sophistication and served as a continuation of both the Arts and Crafts movement and Art Nouveau by continuing the trend within the decorative arts of reacting against a Machine Age standardization that was sacrificing aesthetic beauty in favor of mass production.
