This item is made to order with a production time of 1-3 weeks. You’ll receive an email with shipping confirmation and tracking when your piece is complete.
We ship via USPS Ground, with options for USPS Priority Mail or UPS options with insurance and tracking. Domestic orders arrive within 2-5 business days after shipping. International orders may take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Duties and customs fees are determined by your country’s policies.

Each piece is hand fabricated in our Idyllwild, CA studio. Using Acid Queen’s signature technique, we build each piece in wax, cast in small batches, and hand finish to bring you wearable art that is bold, powerful and beautiful.

This piece is a solid sterling silver Forest Floor Shield Ring Featuring Orthoceras (fossil).
Ring Size:
During VIP shopping and the first weekend of our release you will be able to purchase your ring and name your own size. After you purchase please respond to your order email with the size that you want so we can add it to the order notes and get it sized for you.
Please note that we will not be able to assist you in finding your size- if you are unsure you can order a free ring sizer HERE.
Resizing will add 1 week production and orders will be sent after that time.

Metaphysical Properties
Orthoceras are an extinct marine cephalopod that ranged in size from a few inches to over five feet. An ancestor of the squid, their name means “straight horn” reflecting their long, conical shells. Orthocera fossils are from the Silurian Age & are 400 million years old.
Long used as a talisman for protection & long life, Orthocera fossils are excellent healing stones to help you move from the old to the new & be open to change.
