Armored Ascension | Acid Queen x It Is Known

Armored Ascension was born from a collaboration between two studios, two visions, and one shared belief: that adornment is armor, and armor can be art.

Handwoven in New York City by It Is Known and anchored by a hand-fabricated sterling silver quartz setting by Acid Queen, this piece exists at the intersection of ancient craft and modern power. Every ring interlocked. Every link intentional.

The large faceted Clear Quartz at the center is not just decoration. It is the heart of the piece. Clear Quartz amplifies intention, clarifies purpose, and channels the energy of whoever wears it. Held in a solid sterling silver bezel, hand-carved and cast in our studio, it sits at the sternum like a breastplate jewel. A focal point. A declaration.

ABOUT THIS COLLABORATION

Armored Ascension is a limited edition pre-sale collection created in collaboration between Acid Queen Jewelry and It Is Known. Each piece brings together two distinct handcraft traditions: the ancient art of chainmaille weaving and the hand-fabricated metalsmithing of Acid Queen's studio. This is wearable myth. Made by hand. Made with intention.

Pre-sale runs July 6 through July 26, 2026. All pieces are made to order after pre-sale closes.

 

 

DETAILS

The Harness:

  • Center front length (collar neckline to waist chain): 9 inches

  • Waist: Adjustable with 2 stainless steel clasps

  • Sample fits up to a 36.5 inch waist

  • Custom sizing available up to 36 inch waist on MTO pieces

  • For sizing 37 inches and above, please reply to your order confirmation email (note additional charges of +$25)

The Stone:

  • Large faceted Clear Quartz

  • Hand-set in solid sterling silver, hand-carved and cast in our studio using the lost wax casting method

  • Each stone is hand-selected for clarity and energetic presence

 

 

CHAINMAILLE CRAFT

Handwoven in New York City from 100% stainless steel rings and findings in classic European 4-in-1 and Simple Chain Weaves. Finished chainmaille is tumbled and polished to a silky-smooth finish.

Stainless steel will not rust, break, or discolor. Over time, the steel develops a beautiful antique patina. To restore a bright shine, hand-wash periodically with dish detergent.

 

 

STERLING SILVER CARE

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time, developing a darker patina that adds depth and character. To maintain the original finish, gently polish with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and remove before swimming or bathing. Store in a cool, dry place when not wearing.
